Welcome to Wandering Counseling – a space where you can show up exactly as you are, wherever you are in life. I’ve spent nearly a decade working with students, educators, parents, and those navigating paths less traveled. I know firsthand that life rarely follows a straight line, and sometimes we find ourselves wandering, questioning, or struggling to find our footing. You don’t have to wander alone.
I grew up in the mountains, carving my way down slopes and wandering through small Colorado towns. I’ve traveled from teaching snowboarding in China to working in schools across the state, from bustling high schools to tight-knit mountain communities. I’ve supported kids in their most challenging moments, coached school staff through burnout, and guided families trying to reconnect. I understand the pressures of modern life – the burnout, the isolation, the pressure to ‘fix’ everything – because I’ve lived it too. I know what it’s like to search for purpose, to feel off the beaten path, and to want something more meaningful.
After years of working with kids and educators, I decided to create a practice that truly meets people where they are – emotionally, physically, and geographically. At Wandering Counseling, I blend evidence-based practices with a deep appreciation for nature, movement, and authentic connection. It’s not about fixing you – it’s about helping you rediscover your direction.
Educators, School Counselors, and School Staff:
You give so much to others, often at the expense of your own well-being. Let’s work together to manage stress, recover from burnout, and reconnect with the passion that brought you to this work in the first place.
Single Women on Their Own Timeline:
For the women wandering a path less traveled – those who feel out of sync with societal timelines – I offer a space to redefine what success and fulfillment mean to you.
Parents Looking for Connection:
If you’re a parent trying to navigate your child’s big emotions or challenging behaviors, I can help you build stronger connections and create a calmer, more understanding home environment.
Teens & Young Adults:
For those navigating identity, emotions, and life transitions, I offer a space to process the ups and downs, rediscover self-worth, and find your footing.
Whether it’s anxiety, burnout, life changes, or emotional overload—we’ll work together to uncover clarity, resilience, and purpose.
I blend evidence-based practices with a whole-person lens. That means we might talk, reflect, breathe, move, or even create. My sessions often weave in:
This work is not about “fixing” you—it’s about reconnecting you to your inner compass.
At Wandering Counseling, therapy doesn’t feel clinical – it feels human. I offer virtual sessions that feel calm, connected, and intentionally different. This is a space where you can show up messy, unsure, sensitive, or searching – and still feel deeply seen.
Therapy here feels more like a walk alongside than a lecture from above. We take it one step at a time, following your needs, goals, and unique rhythm. Whether you’re sitting in your bedroom, walking in the woods, or curled up with your dog – therapy meets you where you are, literally and emotionally.
No white walls or cold couches – just real conversations, meaningful connection, and a therapist who believes your story matters.
You’ll be met with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. I offer flexible virtual sessions designed to meet you where you are – emotionally and geographically.
